I have been gaming for over 35 years and cannot think of a single game where a save file can be ported to its successor. I am sure there is bound to be at least one though. So therefore this is an unrealistic expectation. I mean importing coaster designs definitely has a precedent, in Frontier's RCT game no less.

They had some decent discounts before but I wanted to wait and see if they went even cheaper. Now they're totally gone.

Very optimistic of you considering the latest releases like City Skylines 2. Cities: Skylines 2 was an insult to the fans just like Roller Coaster Tycoon World was. Games made in a hurry and without love. That doesn't seem to be the case with Planco 2, I hope I'm not wrong.
